Our Dailies are Amazing!
by RMH on , under Film Making
I just saw the dailies from a film shoot we did the other day. It’s the same action movie I’ve been working on, and we have it looking amazing. Considering we are doing this for $0, this is some awesome footage. I just wanted everyone to have a chance to take a look at it.
By the way, if you’re in the Rapid City area, and you want to work on film projects, let me know. I’ve got some short films I’m working on, some spoof comedy sketches, and I’m revising a feature script that is extremely promising.
For those of you who don’t know me, I’m the big foolish looking guy who is dressed like a thug at a funeral at the end.
Enjoy,
Sincerely,

Hey Everyone,
I just posted a long list of my New Years Goals to the Secret To Your Life Blog. If you’re interested, check it out here.
For anyone reading my blog, you might know that I do independent film in my spare time. I had a script that I was going to try to get financed this summer, but I just saw a preview for a movie that is similar. The movie looks great, so I’m excited to see it, but I’m sad that I didn’t get to make it. That was my disappointment for the year.
On to good things though, I have a solid story, and lots of funny, so now I just need to revamp a little and I might be able to get this thing produced. I’m excited to see where the story takes me. Who knows, it might be better than before. Hopefully.
What are the best and worst things that happened to you last year? What are you hoping for this year? What is your New Years Resolution. Put it down in that sexy comment box and I’ll strip for you. Of course, by that I mean I’ll respond to your comment.
Sincerely,
The Vice President of Awesome,

20 lbs in 20 Days Results
by RMH on , under Weight Loss

I weighed in….. and I didn’t make the goal of 20lbs in 20 days. I came a bit short. I gained quite a bit of muscle, and I lost about 8 lbs “on the scale.” I know this isn’t an accurate measurement of my fat loss because I have gained some nice solid muscle. I’ll take an after picture after new year and use that to compare to the picture I will be taking on January 14th.
I am extremely happy with the reactions my friends have given me. Several of them have told me I look better than ever and in fact look like I did at the beginning of High School. It’s nice to be praised by my friends and family for my effortless weight loss.
A side note, I hope to officially launch the 20/20/20 Diet on January 31st. January is already a very busy month for me, but I think if I set my mind to it, I can do it. So that will be my 30 day challenge in January, launch a diet and exercise website.
I have to say, even though I officially “failed” the challenge, I’m super happy that I did it, and I’m overjoyed with the results. Not to mention, I’ve eaten 3 batches of cookies in the past 4-5 days. It has been great.
Now, what weight loss program has worked for you in the past? What were your results?
Comment and let me know.
Sincerely,
The Vice President of Awesome

I Beat Rubik

I have always wanted to be one of those people who could solve the rubik’s cube. But, it was always one of my, “I’ll learn to do that someday” goals. I started looking at my goals, and I realized that I had never actually solved the cube. So I decided to learn it by Christmas.
As you can see, It’s not quite Christmas, and I can do it. I can repeat it, and I will practice at least once per day for the next week or so to make sure that I have it firmly in my mind.
I know this is a wierd and relatively pointless goal to achieve, but I did it, and now I can move on to something bigger and better. I recently wrote about goal setting on The Secret To Your Life. So I have to ask, for those of you following this blog. What goals have you been putting off?
New Year is almost here and so many people make their resolutions, but why wait until New Years Day to start a goal. Start it now. Just write it down and set out the steps to achieve it.
If you have a goal you’ve been waiting to start, write it in the comments section of this post and make it public, you’ll be much more likely to succeed if you make yourself accountable.
So what’ll it be? More of the same, or are you going to start on that goal today?
Write it down and get started.
I’ll get the ball rolling.
I’m working on 5 goals. Here they are:
1) Follow the Diet until Christmas
2) Meditate 15 minutes per day until January 15th. I probably won’t quit this one.
3) Give Up Coffee! No coffee until January 15th.
4) Write 1 page of appreciation each day until January 15th. Read More Here.
5) Do The 4 Minute Cardio routine on the bike every day. Ends Christmas, though I may continue longer.
I’ve recently posted about setting and achieving goals Here. So if you’re interested, jump over there.
Now, I’ll write the new goal for today:
1) Brainstorm 3 possible script ideas so that I can rewrite the Prodigal script within the next 2 weeks.
2) Rewrite and edit my book for online publishing by January 15th.
There are two. What are yours?
