I Beat Rubik

I have always wanted to be one of those people who could solve the rubik’s cube.  But, it was always one of my, “I’ll learn to do that someday” goals.  I started looking at my goals, and I realized that I had never actually solved the cube.  So I decided to learn it by Christmas.

As you can see, It’s not quite Christmas, and I can do it.  I can repeat it, and I will practice at least once per day for the next week or so to make sure that I have it firmly in my mind.

I know this is a wierd and relatively pointless goal to achieve, but I did it, and now I can move on to something bigger and better.  I recently wrote about goal setting on The Secret To Your Life.  So I have to ask, for those of you following this blog.  What goals have you been putting off?

New Year is almost here and so many people make their resolutions, but why wait until New Years Day to start a goal.  Start it now.  Just write it down and set out the steps to achieve it.

If you have a goal you’ve been waiting to start, write it in the comments section of this post and make it public, you’ll be much more likely to succeed if you make yourself accountable.

So what’ll it be?  More of the same, or are you going to start on that goal today?

Write it down and get started.

I’ll get the ball rolling.
I’m working on 5 goals.  Here they are:
1) Follow the Diet until Christmas
2) Meditate 15 minutes per day until January 15th.  I probably won’t quit this one.
3) Give Up Coffee!  No coffee until January 15th.
4) Write 1 page of appreciation each day until January 15th.  Read More Here.
5) Do The 4 Minute Cardio routine on the bike every day.  Ends Christmas, though I may continue longer.

I’ve recently posted about setting and achieving goals Here.  So if you’re interested, jump over there.

Now, I’ll write the new goal for today:
1) Brainstorm 3 possible script ideas so that I can rewrite the Prodigal script within the next 2 weeks.
2) Rewrite and edit my book for online publishing by January 15th.

There are two.  What are yours?
