Hell Explained by a Chemistry Student
by RMH on Oct.02, 2009, under Uncategorized
I was forwarded this today, I had to share it. Have a wonderful Day!
The following is an actual question given on a University of Arizona
chemistry mid term, and an actual answer turned in by a student.
The answer by one student was so ‘profound’ that the professor shared it
with colleagues, via the Internet, which is, of course, why we now have
the pleasure of enjoying it as well :
Bonus Question: Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic
(absorbs heat)?
Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle’s Law (gas
cools when it expands and heats when it is compressed) or some variant.
One student, however, wrote the following:
First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time.. So we
need to know the rate at which souls are moving into Hell and the rate at
which they are leaving, which is unlikely.. I think that we can safely
assume that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no
souls are leaving. As for how many souls are entering Hell, let’s look at
the different religions that exist in the world today.
Most of these religions state that if you are not a member of their
religion, you will go to Hell. Since there is more than one of these
religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we
can project that all souls go to Hell. With birth and death rates as they
are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially.
Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyle’s
Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay
the same, the volume of Hell has to expand proportionately as souls are
added.
This gives two possibilities:
1. If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls
enter Hell, then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase until
all Hell breaks loose.
2. If Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in
Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes
over.
So which is it?
If we accept the postulate given to me by Teresa during my Freshman year
that, ‘It will be a cold day in Hell before I sleep with you,’ and take
into account the fact that I slept with her last night, then number two
must be true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic and has already
frozen over. The corollary of this theory is that since Hell has frozen
over, it follows that it is not accepting any more souls and is
therefore, extinct….. …leaving only Heaven, thereby proving the
existence of a divine being which explains why, last night, Teresa kept
shouting ‘Oh my God.’
THIS STUDENT RECEIVED AN A+.

by RMH on Jul.16, 2009, under Random Stuff
A little joke for you all:
You know when you’re peeing and then a bug flies by you and you try to swat it, and you don’t stop peeing and the pee gets everywhere, then you realize what happened and you think, “oh wait, it’s cool, this is my mother in law’s house.”

Announcements
by RMH on Jun.14, 2009, under Film Making, Random Stuff

Hey Everybody!
I hope all is well in everybody’s lives. Are you getting a lot done? I am.
I just wanted to make a few announcements and share some things with you.
Above is a photo of Jason Lind and I working on the set of a Sci Fi film. Can you tell we play badasses? Yep, we’re cool.
I’ve been super busy working on some films and a couple new websites and that’s why I haven’t been around posting on my blogs lately. I’ve missed the discussions. Right now I’m in the middle of editing Sacramori’s debut Music video. I collaborated on everything from the concept to set design and building and every process of filming. It’s turning out better than I could have imagined. You can look for a release of the single and a preview of the music video within a couple months.
I’ve also just launched another diet blog. So I’ll be adding a link to the home page. If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out here.
My next product launch is up and coming. I’m still working on designing the website, but the veeeeery basics are online at 20minuteslim.com . There is a lot to do to the site before it launches officially, but you all deserve a sneak peak.
It’s a workout product that shows you step by step how to build muscle and burn fat with just two 20 minute workouts per week. If you’re just looking to tone up or lose a few pounds or maybe your just tired of your current plan, this plan will save you loads of time and get you awesome results.
There is a ton of stuff up and coming, so check back often for more updates and some new videos by me!
Thanks for reading.

Brooks Running Commercial
by RMH on May.14, 2009, under Uncategorized
Hey Everybody!
Wow, it’s been a long time since I’ve been to the site here. Sadly, I’ve let it slip lately. I’ve been extremely busy filming some short films, commercials, and a promo spot for a science fiction movie. I’m glad to be back.
Today, I’ve got some footage to share with you. I just finished shooting and editing this brooks running commercial. It was originally shot for a contest, but sadly I had no luck with the contest. To be honest, I missed the deadline because I read the wrong date. But, I’m super happy with the footage we got. I hope you all like it.
The commercial is for their new BioMoGo shoe sole which is a revolutionary new design that will biodegrade in a landfill environment in 20 years rather than the 1000 years that normal shoes take to break down. Brooks is saving thousands of tons of landfill waste as well as water and trees in packaging. The shoe is amazing, and the environmental impact is phenominal. Enjoy!
Sincerely,
The Vice President of Awesome.

Imprint Released on DVD
by RMH on Feb.19, 2009, under Film Making
For those of you who don’t yet know, Imprint has been released nationwide on dvd. This is a local movie filmed in the Black Hills, Badlands and plains of South Dakota. It is a Thriller set in a home on the Reservation. This movie starts out fast and keeps your heart pumping all the way through.
I personally didn’t work on this film, but the guys who did worked their butts off to make it the best movie it could be, and it shows. This is an independent film with a Big Hollywood feel.
Here is just a sample:
The film is produced and directed by Michael Linn of Linn Productions.
You can rent it at your local Blockbuster, and I’m sure you can buy it through Linn Productions.
This is definitely worth a watch or two. I’ve seen a few times myself, and I can’t wait to watch the special features! Gotta Love DVD’s and their special features.
I hope you all get a chance to see the film, it truly is a great watch.
Sincerely,
The Vice President of Awesome
